Healthy Chicken Salad

This salad is not only for the chicken lovers, but also for the salad lovers, it is so easy and quick to put together.

Chicken Salad


  • 1 cup fat free yoghurt
  • ½ cup low fat cottage cheese
  • ½ cup diced apple
  • ¼ cup   sweet dried cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp chopped pecan nuts
  • ½ Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1¼ cups cubed, cooked chicken
  • salt and black pepper to taste


  • Gather all ingredients
  • Stir Yoghurt, cottage cheese, celery, apple, cranberries, onions pecans and Dijon mustard in a bowl until well combined.
  • You can use raisins if you wish in place of the cranberries.
  • Mix in cubed cooked chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper
